Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 1st, 2026. These terms govern the professional relationship between TekaFreight and its global network of clients and partners.

At Tekafreight Solutions, we are committed to serving you efficiently and ensuring your packages are delivered as quickly as possible, in full compliance with all legal requirements. Kindly review the guidelines below carefully, as errors may result in delays or additional charges.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you
("User," "Client," or "Shipper") and TekaFreight ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our").

Note: These terms apply to all international and domestic shipments managed by TekaFreight, unless superseded by a signed Master Service Agreement (MSA).

Data Accuracy

Users warrant that all information provided regarding cargo dimensions, weight, classification, and hazardous material status is accurate and complete. Incorrect data may result in immediate surcharges or service cancellation.

Tekafreight Solutions provides all the shipping addresses at the initial point of engagement. All shipments must follow the instructions shared at the time of engagement.Each customer is assigned a unique Tekafreight Client ID, which must be clearly indicated on all packages alongside your First name. Shipments without this ID may not be processed.Always send us a confirmation of delivery once your package is delivered to our designated warehouses.

Storage and Collection

Customers will be notified once their packages arrive in Kenya. Items must be collected or scheduled for doorstep delivery within 7 days. After this period, storage fees will apply for up to 21 days. Packages that remain uncollected beyond this timeframe may be forfeited.

Delivery

Deliveries must be made Monday to Friday. No weekend or public holiday deliveries are accepted. All packages must be received and signed for.

All packages must include a detailed packing list of contents. Tekafreight Solutions reserves the right to open and inspect any shipment and may refuse or return non-compliant packages at the customer’s expense.

We do not ship illegal goods, drugs, hazardous chemicals, armaments, or any items restricted by airline regulations. We do accept lithium-ion batteries contained in devices (e.g., phones, laptops), perfumes, and colognes. Such items require special handling and may attract additional charges. Tekafreight Solutions reserves the right to refuse or dispose of prohibited shipments.

Shipping costs are based on actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher.

All packages are available for pickup at Donholm, Nairobi.
